Vegan Smoothie Recipes to Revive your Day!

 

Vegan Recipes are a way to make our Vegan Protein Supplements easily palatable to everyone. Here are the recipes:

1. Cinnamon Apple Vegan Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 small apple, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Three Minute Protein Oats
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • ½ cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 3-4 ice cubes
  • ½ cup cold water

Directions:

  1. Add the oats and water to your blender. Pulse a couple times and then allow the mixture to sit for at least 2-3 minutes so the oats can soften.
  2. Add all the remaining ingredients to the blender. Process until smooth, about 30 seconds. Pour into a glass and sprinkle with a little extra cinnamon and nutmeg. Enjoy!

 

2. Vegan Choco Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients:

  1. Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until well combined.

3. Peanut Butter & Jelly Vegan Smoothie

Wheat germ is the stealth health food here, as it contains a wide range of essential vitamins and minerals including selenium, magnesium, phosphorus and thiamine.

Ingredients:

1 cup almond milk 
1scoop plain or vanilla protein powder
2 tbsp wheat germ
1tbsp peanut butter
1 tsp honey
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1cup frozen strawberry

Directions:

  1. Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until well combined.
  2. Enjoy!

4. Vegan Mocha Smoothie

A study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that men experienced an increase in perceived fullness following the consumption of a thick, lower calorie, dairy-based drink than when they sipped a higher-calorie, thinner drink. To increase that feeling of fullness, pour this perky smoothie into a bowl and then garnish with granola for crunch, and for extra hunger-taming fiber.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup almond milk
1 tbsp peanut butter
1pitted date 
1 scoop chocolate soy protein powder 
1tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp instant coffee powder
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp ground cardamom 
1 small frozen banana, chopped

Directions:

  1. Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until well combined.
  2. Enjoy!
